At
Cherry Tree Cottages , we have two warm traditional stone cottages,
set in two acres
of natural heather and woodland garden, with extensive views over the
the Black Brook valley and attractive South Pennines. Both our cottages are
equipped and furnished to four stars standard and have been refurbished in
December 2010.
Welcome
to Cherry Tree CottagesWe are in a country location, close to the villages of Barkisland and Greetland, within 15 minutes of Halifax and Huddersfield town centres, and ideally situated for exploring Bronte country and historic West Yorkshire. The major tourist attractions of Leeds, Manchester and York are within easy travelling distance.
There is direct access from both cottages to the large two acre
wildlife garden, with pond, trees and heather banks.
Pets and children are welcome. Children will find the whole garden adventurous, with rope swings and rocks
to climb.
There is good dog walking direct from the doorstep.
The
Spring Rock tavern, a friendly local pub, is within walking distance (500
metres). They serve good meals, and real ales are on tap.
