Terms and Conditions for Cherry Tree Cottages
Reservations are considered as short term holiday rentals and are not subject to any other form of tenancy agreement. By payment and receipt of our confirmation email, all guests will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to the conditions below.
The rental contract is subject to the following conditions;
1. PAYMENT
A deposit of 40% is required in order to confirm the booking.
The remainder of the balance is due no later than 4 weeks prior to the start date. Non payment of the balance may be regarded as a cancellation of the contract by the client, for which the client shall forfeit their deposit and those dates.
For bookings less than 4 weeks away the full amount will be required. All payments to be made in UK pounds sterling for the sum stated on the booking email.
2. CANCELLATION
Any cancellation by the client for whatever reason must be made in writing.
In the unlikely event that you have to cancel the holiday, please be advised that the deposit is non-refundable. If you have paid the balance of the holiday and have to cancel, and on the basis that we find alternative guests to cover the same days, we will refund any balance paid in excess of 40%. However, this is solely at our discretion.
It
is advisable for you to take out adequate Holiday Insurance Cover which should
at least provide comprehensive cover if you have to cancel your booking. You
should always check with your chosen insurance supplier what the policy you
choose would cover (ie ill health, redundancy etc). Claims must be made direct
to
the insurer.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance you purchase is adequate
for your needs.
Once you have booked your holiday, our
agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable. If for
whatever reason you cannot take your holiday and the booking cannot be re-let,
you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even we have not yet
received your balance. If we do succeed in re-letting the booking, you are no
longer liable for the balance, or we will refund it to you if you have already
paid it.
3.

accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt

If we have to make a significant change or cancel, we will tell you as soon as
possible.
