Cherry Tree Cottages Cancellation Policy

It is advisable for you to take out adequate Holiday Insurance Cover which should at least provide comprehensive cover if you have to cancel your booking. You should always check with your chosen insurance supplier what the policy you choose would cover  (ie ill health, redundancy etc). We will include an application form for the Yorkshire Tourist Board approved scheme with our written confirmation of booking

It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance you purchase is adequate for your needs.

Cancellations

Our cancellation policy is that 40% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking, with the balance payable one month before the start of the holiday. If the reservation is cancelled by the customer prior to one month before the start of the holiday, we will refund any balance paid in excess of 40%. If the cancellation notice is received less than one month before the start of the holiday, refunds cannot be made.

Should you wish to cancel all, or part, of your booking after confirmation, you will be liable to cancellation charges. If your cancellation is covered by insurance, you will be eligible to reclaim these cancellation costs from your insurer. Claims must be made direct to the insurer.

Changes and Cancellations by us

If we have to make a significant change or cancel, we will tell you as soon as possible. If there is time to do so before the start date of your booking, we will offer you the choice of the following options:-

(a) (for significant changes) accepting the changed arrangements

(b) purchasing alternative arrangements from us, of a similar standard to that originally booked if available. If the alternative arrangements we offer you are more expensive, we will not ask you to pay any more. If the alternative is less expensive, we will refund the difference to you.

(c) cancelling or accepting the cancellation in which case you will receive a full
and quick refund of all monies you have paid to us.

Please note, the above options are not available where any change made is a minor one.
